Laboratory Hair Studio Policies

Client Satisfaction Policy

  • Our goal is to make you look and feel your absolute best. In the event you are dissatisfied with a service, we will gladly provide a “re-do” service for you. A re-do service will be scheduled within a two-week period of the original service and is free of charge. No refunds are given for hair services.
  • To avoid any confusion, a blowout is only included in the service time/price when you book a haircut. For all color appointments, blowouts must be booked as an additional service.

Cancellation Policy

  • We understand that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments. For appointment cancellations or adjustments, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required. Notification given less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled service will result in a 50% charge of the reserved service amount.
  • Please be aware, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled.

Product & Equipment Return Policy

  • We have a 30-day return policy for shampoos, conditioners and styling products.
  • Appliances, brushes, combs, etc. are not returnable.
  • All returns must be accompanied by a receipt.
  • No refunds for Hair or Feather Extensions.

Deposit Policy

  • We require a 50% deposit when scheduling an appointment for services that are two hours or more.
  • All deposits are refundable if a 48 hour cancellation notice is given.
  • Deposits cannot be refunded on cancellations of less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled service.

Transaction Policy

  • For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards and debit cards.
  • We do not accept personal checks.
  • Gratuities are NOT added to credit card transactions.

Try Another Stylist

We understand there are times you may need to see a new stylist because of scheduling conflicts, pricing, or for a fresh perspective on your hair. Please feel free to ask for a referral to another in house stylist.

Our stylists are very supportive of one another and keep detailed records of service history and color formulas. Also, due to our extensive education program, all of our stylists have trained closely with the Senior Stylists and Artistic Director. As a result, we can ensure that no matter who you see, you will receive the same high quality service that you are accustomed to at Laboratory Hair Studio.
